To the people saying writers need to do the work to get readers, I agree to that. My country isn't even on the list of being eligible for payment, so much for rewarding quality ideas (If I have managed to get 1k followers there must be some quality information I am providing with my articles, if you come to question my quality).

That said, Medium is a great platform for now as it is mostly devoid of promotional stuff and just includes raw opinions and crisp ideas. So I am grateful for that.
